Starting up applications

UGCC is an affordable web based control panel for controlling game servers. Works on Windows/Linux/BSDs.

Starting up applications

Post by MajorPainage »

Is there a way to start an application with the panel and have the application open to be viewed on remote desktop connection?

We use a server manager for 7 days to die, and that server manager starts the game server automatically once it starts.
I want to have the panel start the server manager which will start the game server, and I will also monitor the game server through the panel.
I am including a .bat file for pre-starting of the application to kill all processes of both the manager and the game server so I don't end up with 2 instances running.

I can set this all up and have it running fine, but I want to be able to see the server manager when I connect to remote desktop as the manger has many tools on it that I use all the time.

Yep. It's currently the only way to accomplish what you want to do.
