Note: Your running gameservers will typically be unaffected by performing an upgrade of the panel, but users will not be able to access the panel while the panel/monitors are down. If a database upgrade is required, users will not be able to login until an admin logins and the database update is performed by the panel. The monitors will also delay starting until the database is upgraded.
Manual Upgrade (Win)
- Before starting any upgrade, always backup the web control panel/monitor files and the database!
- Stop the monitor. Enter 'net stop ugccmon' in the run dialog or command prompt. You can also use the services mmc in Control Panel-->Admin Tools
- Upgrade the panel first. Simply copy the new files over the old. The web.config file will not be overwritten, but the header.inc, footer.inc, and stylesheet files will be. If you modified them you'll want to restore them (you did backup right?) afterwards.
- Log into the panel with an admin account so that any database updates will be performed.
- Install the updated monitor by overwriting the existing files with the new ones in the package. Upgrading via the installer is not currently working correctly.
- Start the monitor. 'net start ugccmon'
- Your upgrade should be complete. Log into the panel to ensure everything is working correctly.
- Review the logs and eventviewer for any errors.
- Before starting any upgrade, always backup the web control panel/monitor files and the database!
- Stop apache and the monitor with the stop.sh script or relevant service commands (systemctl or service command)
- The upgrade is exactly the same as the windows procedures, overwrite the old files with the new files
- Restart the services
- Login to the web panel with an admin account so that the panel can apply any database updates
