Is there custom content out for TF2 already? Just use the /rscgen switch to create a basefile, and set the gamemod to the name of the file you created minus the file extension. I'll probably be adding in built in support for TF2 soon.

If any file ends in .cfg or .ini csrsc disregards it.

Is the case of the file name the same in both places?

In regards to linux and apache--I don't think you need to set a mime type for apache to allow you to download it.

do you have sv_downloadurl set correctly for the game server? If you can download via a browser--the game should be able too. Makes me think the setting isn't correct.

I'm guessing you've renamed the example incorrectly. When csrsc starts, if it can't find the ini, it creates a copy from example.ini. So I assume you've renamed incorrectly.

It's probably not parsing the folder names correctly. I'd just set CSRSC to look at a local redirect, run it. Then just manually upload that folder to your redirect server with your FTP client of choice.

CSRSC does have a commandline option so that you can specify which ini file it uses.

Have your tried toggling the passv setting?
