My guess would be that you aren't pointing SourceRSC at the correct location. It should pointed at the root of the gamemod (ie. orangebox\tf)

And yes, bzip2 is command line based

What is your compresspath set to? If it's .\compressed you may want to change it to something off the root like c:\temp and see if that helps. Let me know.

New Utility: HLDSUpdate-retry

I've written a new tool that monitors the hldsupdatetool process and restarts it if the update process errors out with the "Connection reset by peer" error. Allows you to update/install without having to baby sit the tool until Valve fixes their tool.

Get it in the downloads area.
Enjoy!

To be honest I really don't know if that's a server or client error message. I didn't write the ftp component that the program uses, so I'm really of not much help with the FTP stuff. :(

Just did some quick research and it suggests that the either the server is/was having trouble reading the file or the client was having trouble saving the file. My guess would be the server...

Is there custom content out for TF2 already? Just use the /rscgen switch to create a basefile, and set the gamemod to the name of the file you created minus the file extension. I'll probably be adding in built in support for TF2 soon.
