Is the case of the file name the same in both places?

In regards to linux and apache--I don't think you need to set a mime type for apache to allow you to download it.

do you have sv_downloadurl set correctly for the game server? If you can download via a browser--the game should be able too. Makes me think the setting isn't correct.

I'm guessing you've renamed the example incorrectly. When csrsc starts, if it can't find the ini, it creates a copy from example.ini. So I assume you've renamed incorrectly.

It's probably not parsing the folder names correctly. I'd just set CSRSC to look at a local redirect, run it. Then just manually upload that folder to your redirect server with your FTP client of choice.

CSRSC does have a commandline option so that you can specify which ini file it uses.

Have your tried toggling the passv setting?

1: Just point CSRSC to an empty folder you want to use. CSRSC will take care of the rest.

2. Not sure what you mean....If you are referring to what is missing--CSRSC will tell you while it's processing the files.

CSRSC already skips .dlls, I'll add the .lua extension to the internal exception list, .vmfs I'm not familar with--any ideas if this is a file that the client downloads via fastdownloads?

Is the mod you are running garrysmod?
