I don't know anything about drupal to be honest. The download url I give you in the protector application will not work from a regular browser; it only works in a specific way; trying to get to it from a web browser will always throw an error. You should check your web server logs to see if clients ...

No I'm afraid I don't. Are you putting the new sourcersc into a new empty folder or the folder the old version was in? May want to try a new empty folder if you're doing the latter.

Try running it from a command prompt and see if a message possibly shows you'd miss otherwise.
