Re: SteamCMD Error
Ok, thanks. I don't mind using that tool for now but I think SteamCMD should be looked into with UGCC.

SteamCMD Error
I've been encountering errors with SteamCMD and UGCC for a while now but need to get it working correctly as TF2 is being updated to use SteamCMD soon so most of our servers will need to use the new updater. I'm testing using a CSGO server at the moment, when running the updater from the panel I get...

Start Priority
I would find it useful to be able to set certain servers to restart/start before others on scheduled restarts and when I restart the whole server. One of my TF2 servers sometimes has to be started before the others due to a port issue, I would changed the port but its a popular server and it works f...

Re: CS:GO SteamCMD Error
Ok thanks for the replies.
So the panel is running as root, what should I set $HOME= to in the steam.sh script?

Re: CS:GO Updating
Forgot to reply to this but your instructions worked in the end. With SteamCMD it is best to install it away from your server files and use one SteamCMD install to update all your servers.

Auto update problems
There was a TF2 update last night, and all of our TF2 servers updated except one. So I checked the logs and it seemed to try and update the servers a lot, not sure what was going on. The server that didn't update (had to do it manually this morning) is the ID 7 one. Also noticed that there was an ex...

Re: Auto updating bugs
Since the last update once of the bugs have been fixed.
However, for example if a TF2 update is released, our TF2 servers AND CSS servers will update, obviously only the TF2 servers should be updating.

Re: CS:GO Updating
That doesn't help....
The update chucks out the following:
As I said previously, running it as a different user in ssh works fine.
The update chucks out the following:
Code: Select all
!!! Fatal Error: Steam failed to load: *SteamStartEngine(0xff9baf60) failed with error 1: Failed to create directory /root/Steam
