Re: Stage Two - The system cannot file the files specified

You should simply use

Code: Select all

/72.37.237.102 port 27015
for your ftppath setting. I just tested it and works fine.

Re: Stage Two - The system cannot file the files specified

My guess would be the ftp path isn't correct. If you'd like, feel free to send me a private message with your username/password and I'll debug it on my end. I have a feeling maybe the spaces are to blame, but don't know for sure.

It was started in 2005 as an in-house application to allow customers to control the servers they rented from me. Being the hands on type, I wrote my o...

CoD4/CoD5 Server Query Protocol

I tried to find info for querying Call of Duty 4 servers and couldn't find anything. This is what I've figured out: [EDIT 12/23/2008]This also works for Call of Duty World at War (CoD 5)[/EDIT] To get the basic server status, send a udp packet to the server's port containing {0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0XFF,...

Re: RedirectPath doesn't exist..

The redirect path specified in the ini file doesn't exist....create it or double check that it's set correctly.

It's probably http://url/redir, but I could be wrong.

Re: Problem: Not finding any files?

I'd ensure that /redir actual exists on your redirect (ftp), as RSC assumes that folder already exists....

Let me know.

It should tell you how many files it found on the server, and the number should be higher than the number of entries found in the basefile. If it's lower you may have the wrong path set.

Post your ini minus any passwords, and screen output may be handy too.

Your compress path is wrong, it needs to point to a location on your hard drive, not a URL.

And if you are using the latest version, the ini is read from sourcersc.ini now by default

That's a new one for me..... Are you running a 64 bit OS? Could you try moving it somewhere that doesn't have any spaces in the path. It shouldn't matter...but you never know.... Ensure that you extracted all the contents out of the archive. Maybe the download was corrupt? Get a copy of bzip2 from h...
