1: Just point CSRSC to an empty folder you want to use. CSRSC will take care of the rest.

2. Not sure what you mean....If you are referring to what is missing--CSRSC will tell you while it's processing the files.

CSRSC Version 1.67 Released

Updated FTP engine, latest version of bzip2, and updated basefiles. Also added a few new file extensions to the exception list (.lua & .vmf)

Get it in the downloads area.

CSRSC already skips .dlls, I'll add the .lua extension to the internal exception list, .vmfs I'm not familar with--any ideas if this is a file that the client downloads via fastdownloads?

Is the mod you are running garrysmod?

CSRSC doesn't have the functionality to exclude directories at the moment.

What is the mod? If all the files have the same file extension I can add them to the exception list within CSRSC.

I'd suspect that spaces in the name of the file may be causing you problems. Is the file Copy of zm_wintercomplex_b1.bsp supposed be named that?

Also you may want to try changing your compress path to a folder off of the root (c:\compressed for example)--that may help

UT3 Coming November 2007!!!!!

Expect a new version of RSC once I have have the game in hand and have the time to code it. I've learned alot since writing RSC in '03 and you can expect a better, faster, and easier to use version. I plan on it being a console application with support for Windows and Linux. :)

http://www.urldownload.com/members/signup.php I've never had any issues with them, and the guy that maintains it is very helpful and quick to help out. He's switched servers several times since starting out, I'm sure the stats and test file haven't been updated with the latest move. Hope that helps.

Welcome to the New Site!

I got tired of the old site and wanted something simpler and quicker. It's still a work in progress. If you come across any problems or have any suggestions/comments I'd love to hear them.

Thanks!

What is sv_downloadurl? How and why should I use it?

Why setup sv_downloadurl? People connecting to your server will get the custom content (maps, sounds, etc) much quicker than without. The reason for this is that the web server (aka http server/redirect server) can pump out data much faster than the source engine. Another side effect of using sv_dow...

If you are having timeout issues or other FTP problems trying to connect to your FTP server, try turning passv mode on.

If you're having other problems, please ensure you are using the latest version.
