Monitor won't start

After installing the panel on another server, and adding the license, I restarted the panel service, and it now shows as licensed.

Show I attempted to start the monitor service, and it get to about 60-70%, and then hangs for a while and eventually, I get a popup message:

Windows could not start the UGCCMon service on Local Computer.

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

You need to check the log file and possibly event viewer.

Guess I found the problem but not sure how to fix it.

Note: This is a fresh install from your download link.
So note sure why your installer is installing an old version if that's what is happening.

Checking update page it says I have version 1.71 and no updates available.

I'd assume your panel and monitor are pointing to two different databases.

Make sure C:\Windows\system32\ugccmon.cfg points to the exact same database the panel is using for it's database. Also never use a 32bit application (ie Notepad++) to edit files in system32 on a 64 bit OS-it will not save correctly.

I had the same problem. I was pulling my hair out.

apparently the installer uses the wrong database by default

this is whats in the ugccmon.cfg after using the installer.

We are ok now.
We changed over to mysql and remote setup and resolved everything.
