UGCCMON cannot start after update from EzUGCC 1.801 to 1.81

Windows Server 2012 R2, with following in Windows event log:-

Service cannot be started. System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: Configuration system failed to initialize ---> System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: Root element is missing. (C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Brainless_Technologies_Lt\1.7.7.4\user.config) ---> System.Xml.XmlException: Root element is missing.

I did a "re-upgrade", reinstall over the previous, same results.

Do not know if it is also due to http://news.softpedia.com/news/microsof ... 7348.shtml. When I upgraded from EzUGCC 1.801 to 1.81, I did not reboot. Only rebooted after today's Windows update and faced this problem.

Your local app config might be corrupt. Try deleting C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Brainless_Technologies_Lt and see if the monitor will run.

Does the error log line, "(C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Brainless_Technologies_Lt\1.7.7.4\user.config)" contain any password like info? - I have edited the above post.

No, the file name/path doesn't contain any sensitive information.
