Trying to link 2 servers with one CP

Hello its me again..
I love the CP let me just say that..
I plan on buying it in the next week.

But i would like to know how to link to servers with one CP.
I have tried but have not got far...

When you say "Install the monitor on the remote host if it hasn't been already." you mean i have to have ugcc running on both servers ?
And the sql.. that can be on one of the servers with mysql running or..
Sorry if I'm asking to much. I just don't want to try and mess up bad

UGCC consists of two parts---the panel and the monitor....both are installed typically on the machine hosting the panel. You'll need to install the monitor on any machines you want to control from a panel not running on the same machine.

You can have the mysql anywhere aslong as UGCC can access it.

Is there a way to install just the monitor on the other server?

Download the manual install package. The folder structure of the package is defined at viewtopic.php?f=21&t=125

Then run the monitor setup on each system. Using the System user setup is the easies route.

You are using a backend that is not compatible with remote mode, the buttons below have been disabled

It means you are using an access database/backend--you'll need to switch over to MySQL as stated earlier first.

wen i go to add the new server i get this Pick a server first and i cant change the Definition ID#..

wow i think im in a lil over my head right now

That message is only returned if you try to test id #1. Change the name, click add new button. Then select the new entry in the dropdown and edit it to your liking. You cannot change the id....the panel automatically assigns it when created.

ok i got it added by puting in the DB

now i just cant get the monitor to start on the other server ?
