Uploading wrong?

Post by Alxzu »

When the items get uploaded to my ftp server they get uploaded WITH the addon names!
Example: http://fd.**********.com/rdir/Fireworks/materials/
It is suppost to be uploaded as "/materials/" whitout "/firework/" correct?
It might be that I am missing some important settings, please tell me...
and it appears that running SourceRSC with "SourceRSC.exe /gmodcache"
causes it to say "No files found locally" something wrong here too?

Cause im a noob at gmod servers, can you tell me if they are supposed to be placed straight in "\garrysmod\addons"
without any special requirements such as placing the luas elsewhere or manually assing "resource.AddFile" ?

Do you have the game mod set to gmod? Post your Ini (minus any ftp passwords) as that will be the easiest and quickest.

I fixed it, appearantly i had not noted that I had added the extra \addons\
But now i have another problem, due to the fact that ftp has "limited session" (or atleast i think)
I have the problem where i get 6000 ms timeout failed to connect: ERROR, not yet connected to the server...

Sorry for this late reply, and for me forgetting to post the ini.
But I fixed it a long time ago simply by making a local redirect then uploading.
9000 individual files are also better uploaded as one compressed :D
