CPU Affinity

Post by toco12 »

Which is better for performance and optimisation?
Setting them to affinity, or setting core(s) to each server?
Im just a little afraid it will attempt to load everything on core 0 first rather than spread it out over the 4.

I've typically left the affinity alone, but some people swear by locking it down to a core. All really depends on your environment--try it both ways and see if there is any major difference.
