That is interesting. I'd double check your ini to make sure there's no spaces after the settings or the setting headers.

looks like its not finding any files. i checked the .ini file and no spaces where they shouldnt go. i put both ftp modes to passive and i changed the root folder for the gameserver ftp to /hlds_source/cstrike and now its finding files. but its not getting a connection to my webhost. will now try to take off passive for the webhost and see if that works. it doesnt seem to be finding maps tho. here is the output:

ok looks like im getting somewhere. i had the path for my webserver incorrect. but im still getting connection errors. they seem to be timeout errors and im not sure why. i been noticing something similar via my own ftp program, but have no idea what could be causing it. here is the output:

If you're experiencing similar issues with an FTP client; I'd assume there's an issue with the connection or the server itself.

... im about to give up. i got the paths correct and its finding the files and compressing them, but looks like its not keeping a connection to the webhost ftp so its not finishing downloading and compressing the files

can i change the redirect to my own computer and then just manually upload the files via my own ftp program?

ok i almost had it. had both passive modes set to True, and it processed about 23 files before losing connection to a ftp again. i changed the redirect passive mode to False and it got to 1 file then got basically the same error. seems to be losing the connection. here is my output:

I'd change your redirect mode to local, set the paths in the ini relating to the local redirect. Run sourcersc. When it's finished your ftp client of choice to upload the local files to your redirect.

i tried that but it kept giving me an error with the pathname. I was using my storage drive J:\redir

so far im having luck by just restarting it whenever it gives me an error. It just did 49 files in a row and just finished with my 1st server. I have another server with about 70 something files on it so ill just keep starting it till its done with those. once its done, keeping both up to date shouldnt be too much of a hassle. thanks for the program
